Voluntary surrender
You can trigger your right with your mortgage lender to surrender the property to the lender and allow them to take carriage of its sale. We can assist you with this process.
In doing so you legally surrender the property to the lender who will take carriage of the marketing and sale of the property.
The costs associated with marketing and sale of the property, including the estate agency and legal fees, are discharged by the lender and added to the shortfall mortgage balance. Pending resolution of the debt you will remain for the full mortgage balance.
